I’m Matthew Hoedt, a Scottsdale-based Residential Real Estate Advisor and licensed Realtor® with Realty ONE Group serving Phoenix, Scottsdale, and the East Valley in Arizona. With more than 16 years of experience, I help people relocate, buy, and sell with clarity and confidence through effective strategies, clear communication, and steady guidance.

I came to real estate after nearly 20 years in Colorado’s corporate world, seeking meaningful work that combined my love of architecture, exploration, and people. Since making that transition, I’ve helped hundreds of clients move forward - literally and figuratively - through thoughtful, relationship-first service rooted in preparation, transparency, and trust.

Most of my clients are navigating significant transitions: relocating for lifestyle, planning for retirement, purchasing a second home, or right-sizing into a new chapter. Many are moving here from out of state and are looking for a trusted guide who understands both the market and the emotional side of change. Some are part of the LGBTQ+ community; others simply want to work with someone who listens carefully, respects their perspective, and advocates for their interests. I take that responsibility seriously.

I hold advanced designations such as Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS), Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS), and NAR’s Commitment to Excellence (C2EX), bringing both deep local expertise and a global perspective to my work. I've also served in many leadership roles at the local, state, and national levels, and am currently a Director at my local Realtor association, on several government affairs and diversity-focused committees, and the Arizona Chapter President of the LGBTQ+ Real Estate Alliance.

More than credentials or titles, what matters most to my clients is the level of care, judgment, and advocacy I bring to their experience: listening carefully, anticipating challenges, and protecting their interests while creating a smooth, well-managed process from start to finish.

Originally from New England and raised around the world in an international business family, I’ve called Arizona home since 2005. I understand firsthand what it means to relocate and start fresh - and I love helping others do the same, whether they’re moving across the country or just across town.

As a solo advisor, I remain personally involved at every step. My clients work directly with me, receiving thoughtful, one-on-one guidance focused on protecting their interests and creating a smooth, well-managed experience from start to finish.

Outside of work, my husband and I enjoy live music, local festivals, home cooking, and exploring the energy and creativity that make Scottsdale such a unique place to live.
