About
I was born and raised in Minneapolis proper. I started my family in the same home my mother raised me in, so I understand the emotional ties that can come with a house. Before real estate I've worked in theater, retail management, had a quick stint with a nonprofit, and a few years as a birth doula. Through all of that, I've learned that I love learning and connecting with people. We all have more in common than we think.
I now live in Eagan (after swearing I'd never move to the 'burbs, turns out it's actually quite nice) with my husband, son, two step-daughters, and a chatty, toothless cat named Nova. I prefer the beach over the mountains, coffee over tea, I believe the book is always better than the movie, and I dream of traveling to Italy for all the wine and cheese.
A bit about my professional side; I am the current President of the Minnesota chapter of the LGBTQ+ Real Estate Alliance. A title I'm proud to carry. I'm an avid ally and a strong believer in social justice. I serve on the Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Committee within SPAAR (St. Paul Area Association of Realtors) and on the Diversity and Inclusion Team within Edina Realty. I also serve on the Government Affairs Committee and the Housing Affordability task force within SPAAR.
Since the summer of 2020, I have delved deep into my learning and uncovering my own biases to improve how I serve my community. I firmly believe that everyone wants the same three basic things; a safe place to call home, good food to eat, and people to love. If I can help with any one of those, I will call it a success.
