In 1999, Chip embarked on a new career path, obtaining his Real Estate license and joining the Coldwell Banker team. Over the years, he advanced his credentials, achieving his Brokers license in 2014. Based in the Sacramento Metro office on McKinley Park, Chip also extends his expertise to Hawaii, holding licenses and operating from the Coldwell Banker Diamond Head/Kahala office.
Driven by a commitment to community service, Chip has held various leadership roles, including Vice-President of the South Land Park Neighborhood Association and President of the Art Service Group, benefiting the Crocker Art Museum. He currently serves as treasurer for the Ka’onohi Foundation, supporting the Sacramento Aloha Festival, promoting Native Hawaiian culture and treasurer of the LGBTQ Real Estate Alliance Sacramento Chapter.
Chip's dedication extends to professional development and advocacy within the real estate industry. He is a graduate of both the Sacramento City Management Academy and the Sacramento Citizens Academy. Actively involved with the Sacramento Association of Realtors, Chip serves on the Board of Directors, contributing to committees such as Metrolist MLS, Scholarship Fundraising, Government Affairs and Global Business Task Force. He is a former director for the California Association of Realtors, serving on the Professional Standards Committee, Public Policy Committee and MLS Committee.
